Bonus Opportunity for WRIT2 Students--March 26th

I feel at loose ends today, and so I thought I could pick up my spirits by getting some free points into your grade. If you'd like a bonus, please write a paragraph about what you usually do when you need to do homework, but find it hard to concentrate. How do you get your mind focused, and get the work done on time? Or, if you prefer, how do you manage to take a break and make yourself feel fresher when you have too much homework to do? Do you have any suggestions for me? I am bogged down by my dissertation and two textbooks, both due on April 16th. Help me, and help yourself!

Hi Chris,
If I am in your situation, I guess I will try to relax myself first. My way of relaxation is to listen to music; it should be one of your favorite song. I think listening to music really helps me a lot. Most of the time when I am off mood or when I am too tired while attending classes, I take out my cell-phone cum ipod and listen to my favorite song .All my songs are fast beat or hip-hop. In this way I can relax my mind. Frankly speaking, I really can’t live without music. If I am in the dormitory and there are loads of homework to complete and when I don’t feel like doing it for the time being, I would play computer games and listen to fast beat songs at the same time, in order to relax myself. After that I could concentrate on my work. So Chris, I suggest, you listen to your favorite music and relax in between your work. Hope it helps you. I wish you luck in completing your work on time. Just do whatever you could and God will do the rest.Trust in God. Don't worry!!!

At first, I will put a list when I start to study. I should to know what thing is the most important I should to do at first. Then I will do the things with my schedule. That usually help me a lot. When I god tired or felt that I can’t concentrate on the things I should do. I will walk around or listening some motion music. Sometimes I will write down some about emotion that let me can’t concentrate. When I write, I will got more peaceful than before, I think it’s a good method. I don’t know how helpful these suggestions can do. But don’t put yourself in the some trouble too long. You will worry about it but can’t do something. I think it’s not helpful. Be cheerful. It’s difficult to do the things well if you don’t keep your mind on it. When I need to do homework, I always have a cup of coffee before I work. The caffeine can make me lively and I can pay more attention to do homework well. But it’s not effective all the time even I drink two cup of coffee. At that time, I’ll put the tasks aside and don’t think anything about it. Just do the thing which I want to do and enjoy my spare time. After relax, I can concentrate my attention on homework easily. It must be more effective than do the things when you are spirit lax.
